Curzon Victoria - London
Curzon Victoria is the latest in a chain of art house cinemas that are dotted around the country, with six in England’s capital alone. They provide a cultural, stylish and informal backdrop for cinema goers to enjoy, where more than just films are on offer; rather an arts community that hosts numerous specialist events and screenings.
Waxman Ceramics Architectural Tiles’ offered a selection of tiles to the project designer that would meet the cinemas unique yet recognisable style and provide an exquisite backdrop that lives up to Curzon Cinemas’ already glowing
reputation.
The tiles chosen were Milano in Ivory and Black. These were used to create a monochromatic, unique pattern on the floor of Curzon Victoria’s main bar, complementing the opulent hues of bronze and deep blue that decorate the
surrounding walls.
