Perfectionist Cafe

Fusing mid-century design with quintessential menus of the era, Heston Blumenthal’s Perfectionists’ Cafe in Heathrow airport’s Terminal 2, is a sensory treat.

With an objective to capture the true essence of both Heston’s cooking and the glamorous world of travel, as it was known in the 60s – multi-sensory with timeless elegance, the project uses contrasting materials and colours to achieve this and more.

Waxman Architectural provided light blue and white hexagon mosaic tiles that were used to adorn the open fronted kitchen/bar area, pulling in colours that appear throughout the restaurant while offering a stylish facade.
