Alongside this, each of our specification team have a dedicated internal support who can assist with stock queries, pricing and the processing of all orders.
As Group Director, no two days ever look the same. With multiple companies, people and products in play, I’m constantly adapting, learning, and pushing things forward — it’s busy, unpredictable, and exactly how I like it. Having been born into the family business (founded by my grandad 70 years ago), Waxman has always been part of my DNA.
Right now, there’s so much going on — in a good way. We’re evolving, growing, and embracing constant change, which keeps me more than busy!

Generating specifications for commercial and residential projects across the North East, I work closely with architects and designers to bring ideas to life. With over 20 years’ experience in specification sales within the interiors industry, I’m excited to bring that knowledge into my new chapter with Waxman Ceramics — developing my product expertise and reconnecting with clients old and new.

As the unseen engine of the architectural team, I help keep things ticking over, from processing orders and managing quotes to chasing deadlines and keeping our customers happy. I’ve been at Waxman for 5 years now, and no two days are the same (thankfully — I get bored easily).
My role is all about juggling the details and making life easier for our specification our managers, which means I spend a lot of time liaising with purchasing and transport to keep everything running smoothly, from quote to delivery.
I’ve also recently qualified in understanding autism in children & young people which is something I’m really passionate about and hoping to study further. I’m always learning, in and out of work.

As part of the pools & contracts team, I’m here to support the sales reps behind the scenes — from prospecting new business and updating the CRM to keeping clients in the loop with new products, samples, and regular check-ins. Building relationships is what I love most, and after 15 years in retail sales, talking to people comes pretty naturally (I’ve been told I’ve got the gift of the gab — and I’m not arguing 😄).
Although I’m only a few weeks into my journey with Waxman, I’m excited to grow into the role and see where it takes me. So far, it’s a great fit!

After 27 years in the ceramic tile industry (yes, really!), I’m still focused on delivering best-value solutions that meet our customers’ deadlines — with nine of those years proudly spent at Waxman Ceramics.

Supporting the contract reps and keeping our customers happy is my day-to-day , You’ll find me processing orders, managing projects and quotes, and keeping everything (and everyone) on schedule. I liaise with purchasing and transport to make sure things run smoothly from quote to delivery. Basically, I’m the person making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
I’ve been part of the Waxman family for 6 years now, and if you ask around, you might hear me referred to as The Swan (thanks, Richard Summerscales!) — calm and composed on the surface, but paddling like mad underneath to keep everything moving 😂
