Ego Mediterranean is a family of Mediterranean-inspired pubs and restaurants with sites across the UK. Each venue brings the flavours of the Mediterranean to the heart of its local community, serving up freshly cooked dishes alongside cocktails, cask ales and wine from across the continent – all in a relaxed, sociable setting that suits everything from a family meal to a celebration night out.
For this project, Waxman Architectural supplied Oasis Blue Decor tiles for its bar, chosen to reflect the coastal, Mediterranean spirit at the heart of the Ego brand. The tiles feature a subtle triangular detail set into their rectangular form, adding a sense of movement and texture to the surface, while the beautiful blue tone brings a fresh, sun-drenched feel reminiscent of the Mediterranean coastline itself.
The result is a finish that captures the essence of Ego Mediterranean’s identity perfectly – vibrant, warm and inviting, giving the space a distinctive coastal character that ties in seamlessly with the relaxed, continental dining experience on offer.
